OM2 organizational memory for enterprise AIYour enterprise just started thinking.
OM2 is the organizational memory layer for your AI stack. It gives Claude, ChatGPT, Coworker and your own agents the same permission-aware organizational context, so every answer starts with what your company already knows.
The problem
Your AI spend is paying to rediscover the same context.
Ask Claude for an account’s deal history. With native connectors it makes six round trips through Slack, Drive, Calendar, HubSpot and Gong, and still returns a partial picture. Through the Coworker MCP it reads OM2 once and gets the full timeline, with sources.
“Give me a deal history and timeline for Acme, with dates, including how the deal expanded and where it stands now.”
Where memory fits
What is organizational memory?
Organizational memory, sometimes called company memory or institutional memory, is what a company knows about its customers, projects, people and decisions. For AI, it is a shared organizational memory layer that keeps that knowledge as connected, current, permission-aware facts, so every model and agent starts with your organizational context. What it can answer
Questions that need organizational context.
Hover a card to see how OM2 answers it.
“Who on our side has talked to Acme’s new CFO, and what did we commit to?”
Joins people, calls and deals across Gong, Salesforce and Slack.
Priya and Sam met Dana twice this quarter. On the Aug 12 call you committed to an SSO add-on at no extra cost, and it is not in the order form yet.
“How many enterprise customers asked for audit logs this year?”
Counts every call and ticket instead of returning the top ten matches.
37 enterprise customers asked for audit logs this year, 11 of them this quarter. Most requests came up during security review.
“Which renewals this quarter have an open security concern?”
Returns every match, filtered to the accounts you are allowed to see.
Four renewals this quarter: Acme, Northwind, Globex and Initech. Each has an open security question, and all four are accounts you can already see.
“What changed in our discount policy since the Q2 board meeting, and who approved it?”
Follows the decision from the meeting notes to the Slack thread to the updated policy doc.
The discount cap dropped from 20% to 15% on Jul 8. The CFO approved it in #deal-desk, and the policy doc was updated two days later.

- 03
Augmentation
Replaces outdated facts and drops the noise.
- 04
Deterministic Retrieval
Exact graph queries, within each person’s access.
- 05
Distillation
Frequent questions get a learned, faster route to the answer.
Why existing solutions fail
Organizational memory vs. MCP connectors, RAG and building your own.
Each one fetches, indexes or stores your context, but none of them understands it, so the model starts from zero on every question.
Security
Your data stays yours, and stays where you need it.
The five questions every CIO asks, answered.
“The ROI calculation was straightforward. We just needed to save two to two and a half hours per month per person to break even. We exceeded that in the first few weeks.”

What is organizational memory?
Organizational memory (also written organisational memory) is what a company knows about its customers, projects, people and decisions, kept so it can be used again. In AI, it is a shared layer that stores that knowledge as connected, current, permission-aware facts, so every model and agent starts with the company’s context. Some teams call it company memory, corporate memory or institutional memory.
What is organizational context?
Organizational context is the background an answer depends on: who owns an account, what was decided and why, which project a thread belongs to. Models do not have it by default. Organizational memory is how you supply it.
What is OM2?
OM2 is Coworker’s second-generation organizational memory. It builds a permission-aware knowledge graph from 50+ connected tools and serves that context to Coworker, to MCP clients such as Claude and ChatGPT, and to your own agents.
How is organizational memory different from enterprise search?
Enterprise search returns documents for someone to read. OM2 pre-synthesizes facts and the relationships between them, so it can answer questions that span systems.
How is OM2 different from RAG?
RAG retrieves text chunks that look similar to a question, one request at a time. OM2 keeps a persistent graph of entities and relationships, tracks which facts are current and enforces permissions on each fact.
Does OM2 respect our existing permissions?
Yes. Every fact carries the access policy of its source system, and OM2 checks it at query time. People and agents only recall what they could already open.
Do we have to replace the AI tools we already pay for?
No. OM2 sits underneath them. Coworker MCP connects it to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf and your custom agents, so every tool you already pay for gets the same organizational context.
How does an organizational memory layer work with Claude and ChatGPT?
Through Coworker MCP. Claude, ChatGPT and other MCP clients call OM2 as a tool, so a question gets your company’s facts in one step instead of a search through each connected app. Permissions are checked on every fact before it is returned.
Does an AI assistant in Slack need its own company memory?
No. With OM2, the assistant in Slack, the agents your team builds and tools like Claude all read from one shared organizational memory, so they give the same answer and nothing has to be kept in sync by hand.
Where does our data live?
OM2 runs on isolated infrastructure, in Coworker's cloud or self-hosted in your own AWS or Google Cloud VPC. Coworker is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR and CASA Tier 2 verified.
Which plans include OM2?
OM2 is part of Coworker Enterprise. Book a demo to talk through pricing and rollout.
